SEARS BELLOWS STATE PARK
is located within the Long Island Pine Barrens. Campsites for both tents and trailers are available. Rowboat rentals are offered Sears Bellows' extensive trail system attracts hikers and horseback riders from all points, east and west. Sears Bellows Park is a sportsman's paradise.

HUBBARD COUNTY PARK
- has a 5.75 mile hike that will take about 3 hours to complete. This trail will take you on a tour of a park that has salt flats, marshes, beach, and woods where you can enjoy the local flowers and birds.

North Sea 
BIG WOODS PRESERVE is 333 acres in size. Big Woods is part of one of the most extensive salt marsh-tidal creek systems remaining in the Peconic estuary. In addition to the mature forest of oaks, American beech, and white pine for which Big Woods is named, the preserve includes freshwater wetlands, beaches, and tidal marshlands. More info/photos

Sag Harbor
MULVIHILL PRESERVE
is 100 acre large and is the centerpiece of a 200-acre patchwork of preserves. It includes an extraordinarily  beautiful oak, hickory, beech and laurel forest with views of the man-made Mulvihill Pond, streams, smaller ponds, and glacial erratics.
